The Entertainment AIDS Alliance (EAA) will host its 10th annual Wine & Wisdom event, a fundraiser supporting Elizabeth Taylor’s Endowment Fund benefiting the UCLA AIDS Institute’s CARE Center and Common Ground. It’s certain to be a lovely summer event under the stars featuring artisanal food and wines, smooth jazz by the Lori Jenaire Jazz Quartet, a raffle and live and silent auctions. General Admission

Wednesday, June 20

Downtown Culver City’s Third Wednesday 
kicks off the first day of Summer. Enjoy this Neighborhood Happy Hour and Spiked Lemonade Contest with live music, dining and merchant specials. You’ll cool off with free samples of Spiked Lemonade at restaurants, bars and retail establishments throughout Downtown Culver City, then vote on your favorite drink for a chance to win a Downtown Culver City prize. The more samples you try, the more chances to win. And you won’t need a designated driver either, as Culver City just got a lot closer with the grand opening of the new Expo Line Culver City Station, and rides are free all day June 20. Silicon Beach Fest is LA’s first festival organized by its tech community to celebrate LA tech, entertainment & startups with panels, keynotes, workshops, mixers and more at a dozen venues focused in Santa Monica and Venice on June 21-23, 2012.

It’s the 34th Annual Greek Festival on June 22, 23 and 24, 2012. Get your Greek on with delicious Greek food, pastries, wine, cooking demonstrations, Greek dancing lessons, church tours, drawings and boutique items from around the world. Admission is just $3 per person. Children under 10 are free and seniors 65+ get free admission. Saturday hours are noon-5:00 pm.

Go hungry, leave happy. LA’s second annual Vendy Awards, an intense cook-off between the best sidewalks chefs in the city, returns June 24 at Pan Pacific Park. The seven finalists that will compete in the cook off to win the People’s Choice Award and the coveted Vendy Cup are: Tacos el Gallito, India Jones Chow Truck, Karina’s Food, Buttermilk Inc., Martha’s Tamales Organicos, The Lime Truck and “El Palomo” Hot Dogs.
